The Supper Club

Last night after my weekly PiYo class, we were treated to dinner from the lovely people at Supper. At just a month old, the Supper app is changing the takeaway scene in SW London, delivering healthy, home-cooked dinners to our doors. We got to try some of their delicious meals cooked by local chefs in their own kitchens and it’s fair to say they all went down a storm! PiYo definitely works up an appetite and the guys delivering our Supper were welcomed into St John’s Church, Fulham after our class where we all sat down to enjoy the food together.

The app is very cleverly designed to give you the opportunity to enjoy healthy, good quality and freshly home-cooked meals that can be conveniently delivered to your door. Depending on the area you live in, the app will show you a range of nearby chefs that you can choose to cook your dinner, with a variety of different cuisines on offer and each meal designed to meet Supper’s strict nutritional testing threshold – every dish on the Supper menu is less than 825kcal, no more than 5g of saturated fat per 100g, less than 1.5g salt per 100g and a maximum of 22.5g of sugar per 100g. You can trust you’re eating healthily without thinking and having tried a few of the dishes last night, they certainly don’t compromise on taste!

One of my favourite dishes from the evening was the herb pesto-crusted cod served with new potatoes, petit pois and cherry tomatoes. I’ve never had such a good takeaway meal, this is restaurant standard food delivered straight to your door, and at £9-15 per meal including delivery, I think very reasonably priced.
